Danielle’s vision of early childhood and adult education was formed over 20 years as a lead teacher in public and private preschools and director of a Reggio-inspired preschool and kindergarten. Deeply rooted in play based and Reggio-inspired pedagogy, Danielle is inspired daily by children’s imagination, creativity, and intelligence.
While she learns from every interaction with children, Danielle’s formal education includes a BA in Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill followed by a Early Childhood and Special Education MS from Bank Street School of Education as well as numerous continuing education courses and certificates. She incorporates this formal training with her professional experience in her teacher workshops and consultations with teachers and administrators on topics including curriculum, behavior management, and building a school community.
